Logistics One. One complete distribution solution.

A company built with an eye to the future.

Logistics One began in 1994 as Saratoga Warehouse Associates. Located in a rented building in Scotia, New York, we received overflow goods from the Port of Albany. Within a few months we began constructing our first 90,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Saratoga Springs, New York where we are still headquartered today.

A year later, we opened a second 125,000 sq. ft. building in Saratoga Springs to meet increasing demand. In 1996, we purchased our 260,000 sq. ft. facility in Mechanicville, New York, followed by another acquisition in 2003 of a 160,000 sq. ft. complex adjacent to our headquarters in Saratoga Springs.

When we first started in warehousing, we determined that trucking was a necessary supplemental service we should offer our customers. So we leased three tractors and purchased a handful of trailers to provide shuttle services between our customers’ facilities and our warehouse. Soon after, our customers began asking us to deliver goods to their customers. As these deliveries moved farther away from our home base, we realized this was the beginning of a trucking company. Today, with steady growth and a focus on dedicated regional deliveries, Logistics One has grown from three tractors to one hundred.

As a natural evolution of our company, freight brokerage soon became a part of our daily operations in 1995. Fully complementing our trucking services, our brokerage company completed the Logistics One package by adding long haul trucking to our suite of services.

Most recently, Logistics One has begun to offer real property development as yet another way to service new customers. Located in one of the finest industrial parks, Logistics One offers land for development to customers looking for a stand-alone facility built to their specifications. By offering this option, we can fold all of our services into one logistics package whereby we provide a facility, regional trucking, long haul brokerage, as well as overflow warehousing whenever it is required.
